Mission

Our mission is to, through our apparel and through the people we engage, redefine this generation’s view of how we clothe ourselves and how our simplest actions shape our common, global future.

Breaking down the mission:

1) Through our apparel…
Our goal is to put bamboo clothing on the back of every person in the world. In order to achieve this goal our products will be useful, quality, forward thinking, and inspirational, providing a range of options for the casual to the formal, from the board room to the dance floor. By achieving this goal, Five Bamboo will allow humanity to have a softer impact on the earth by reducing industrial textile pollution and resource depletion.

2) Through the people we engage…
Five Bamboo is about more than selling apparel for every occasion. We will partner with customers, communities, businesses, and non-profits in new, creative, and unique ways to further meaningful causes inside and outside our industry. The struggle for environmental sustainability is not an isolated issue, and we recognize the need to improve our lifestyles on all fronts in order to make the world better for future generations. When you wear a Five Bamboo product, you’re standing with people from around the world who believe in making the world a better place, one step at a time.

3) Redefine this generation’s view of how we clothe ourselves.
The scar of the Aral Sea gives testament to the errors of previous generations, just as the Valdez and Deepwater Horizon spills will give testament to ours. We want our products, and the footprint they leave behind, to give testament to our generation’s desire to live life to its fullest in an environmentally sustainable way.

4) Define how our simplest actions shape our common, global future.
When small steps are multiplied by millions of people, the effect is astounding. We believe that getting one more person to wear some ridiculously comfortable Bamboxers will always be a win-win-win. We have a lot of work to do to get our planet on track, and we’re stoked to take part in a greater solution, one piece of clothing at a time.
