Spring Fashion Round Up

Some of our new summer products debuted recently and our fans are loving them! Check out how our fashion blogger friends have been styling our line–looking good has never been so easy!

Teri from A Foodie Stays Fit paired our Hopscotch Dress with our Long and Lean Cardigan and a long necklace. Super cute!

Janae from Hungry Runner Girl wore our Etheb Hoodie in Simple Grey with our Crop Leggings.

Anne from Fannetastic Food also wore our Hopscotch Dress for a night of fun with her friends (including a baseball game, just like me!).

Kayley at Sidewalk Ready wore our Long and Lean Cardigan over a cute black and white outfit. PS. How great are those shoes?! She also took the Hopscotch Dress for a spin and paired it with a bright cardigan.Meghann from Meals and Miles tweeted about two of our dresses recently. The Hopscotch Dress and the soon to be released Athena Dress in Papaya. We love that chunky blue necklace with the Papaya.

Jessica over at Yellow Voices is lovin’ our V Neck and paired it with a denim jacket and asymmetrical skirt then later with bright red jeans and our Long and Lean Cardigan.

Ashley at A Happy Healthier Bear wore our Elusive Dress in Coral during her Hawaiian vacation. She said it was the perfect travel dress!

Swing Batter Batter

One of the great things about living in Seattle is that there is ALWAYS tons of stuff to do. For most of my life I’ve lived in smaller cities a couple hours away from Seattle so going to the Emerald City required planning and was an all day event. Well, on Monday I decided that I wanted to go to a baseball game after work so I called up the BF and that’s just what we did. Go spontaneity!

I’ve always been a Mariners fan and even though they have been less than fantastic for some time now, I can’t help but love them. Going to their games reminds me of their glory days in the mid 90′s when the Mariners were awesome and had players like Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson, Dan Wilson, and of course, the legend, Ken Griffy Jr. As a kid I was a little leaguer who was terrible at baseball, could quote The Sandlot and Angels in the Outfield like no other, and had waaay too much team memorabilia. Yep, there will always be a special place in my heart for the Seattle Mariners.

Since I decided to go to the game spur of the moment, I couldn’t plan ahead and wear team colors, but it was a bright and sunny day which was perfect for debuting the Five Bamboo Hopscotch Dress! What do you think? Perfect for a day at the ballpark, right?!

We decided to sit in the cheap seats and still had a great time. Peanuts, garlic fries and cold beer were aplenty and even though it wasn’t the most exciting game, the Mariners came from behind to win in the 9th inning!

Great day for an adventure

This weekend is supposed to be warm, like I’m talking the upper 70′s and maybe even makin’ it up to 80 degrees. Holler! I can’t wait to get outside and have an adventure. I don’t have anything planned yet but often times, those days lead to the best memories. Just get out and go somewhere. Do something. Be curious. Explore.

Those are my kind of days.

In the Five Bamboo office, we’re always trying new things. One of the perks of working at a start-up is the opportunity we get to explore and execute all of our crazy ideas! Sure, sometimes that means we have to step out of our comfort zone to get the job done. But, being uncomfortable isn’t that bad. Actually, it’s pretty fun! There’s nothing like doing something for the first time!

Is there something that you’ve wanted to try but keep putting off? Whatever it is, go do it!

The ladies have been holding it down this week at the Five Bamboo offices. Zahlen, Xtehn and Vehro have been out of the office so Rohre, Caitlin and Leah (and Ruhki!) have been partying at work without them.
